Please take care if others are offering 'meet-ups' or 'play groups for puppies' as these may seem appealing but they are, not only, not allowed (ie only one person can meet with one other person to walk with maintaining 2 metre distance), but in many cases the dogs are not being properly controlled (eg over-exercised and over stimulated) ... a situation potentially leading to bad manners and or many health and behaviour problems down the line. Most parks also require dogs to remain on-leash or under control as dogs generally should not be running up to other people or dogs invading personal space.
Please note that only 8% of 'socialisation' is about exposure to other dogs ... there is so much more to do. Sadly, the word has been abused and peer pressure leads new owners thinking that the major part of taking their dogs out is to find other dogs for it to play with.
Please do not hesitate to call for further advice and or to arrange a training / behaviour session.
